| JANET MONID is originally from Brantford, Ontario. She studied theatre at the University of Waterloo and has performed at various theatres including The Muskoka Festival, Theatre Plus, The Lighthouse Festival in Port Dover, the Piggery Theatre in North Hatley, Quebec, Theatre On The Grand in Fergus, Ontario, The Flat Rock Playhouse in North Carolina, and Theatre New Brunswick. This season, Janet can be seen as series regular 'Aunt Claire' in the new CBC/YTV television series DARING AND GRACE, and she has just completed work on two films; FROZEN WITH FEAR starring Bo Derek and Wayne Rogers, and BLACK SWAN starring Melanie Doane. She has also toured extensively over the past five years, playing all three women's roles in the hit stage play, HERE ON THE FLIGHT PATH. |
